Prescription refills
Request a refill — usually same day.
The fastest way to get a routine prescription refilled is through the patient portal. We aim to process refill requests within one business day, often within hours.
Through the portal (fastest)
Sign in, go to “Medications”, find the prescription, and click “Request refill”. You\’ll get a confirmation message when it\’s approved.
By phone or WhatsApp
Call our general line or message us on WhatsApp with your name, date of birth, and the medication name. Useful if you can\’t access the portal.
What we need from you
- Exact name and dose of the medication
- The pharmacy where you\’ll collect it (or whether you want it sent to our clinic)
- Whether you are running low or have already run out (we prioritise urgent refills)
What might delay a refill
- Controlled medications — these require a brief consultation, often by video, before we can issue a new prescription.
- Long gaps since your last visit — if it\’s been over 6 months for chronic conditions, we\’ll ask you to book a check-in before refilling.
- First-time prescriptions — anything you haven\’t taken before requires a consultation, not a refill.
Please plan ahead
Request your refill at least 3 days before you run out. For controlled or chronic medications, a week\’s notice helps us coordinate any required check-ins without rushing.
